How the verse finder works

  1. It reads your words

    Your message is matched, in your browser, against a list of feelings and Quran themes such as patience, hope, grief and gratitude. Nothing you write is sent to a server.

  2. It picks verses from different surahs

    For the themes it finds, it selects up to seven ayahs and tells you why each one was chosen, so you can judge the fit yourself.

  3. It is a finder, not an advisor

    These are verses to reflect on, not a ruling. For a decision or a hard time, please speak to a qualified scholar or someone you trust.
