2:66 · Al-Baqara
فَجَعَلْنَاهَا نَكَالًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
So We made it an example to their own time and to their posterity, and a lesson to those who fear Allah.
